Maybe you are worried that things might not work out. But what if they did? Would you try then?

30+ years in Education

I was that failing, in over my head with no organizational skills middle school student whose behavior was escalating with every forgotten, missing assignment. Well-meaning adults only created more anxiety and frustration trying to organize me in their ways.

I have gone on to earn degrees in elementary education, Montessori education, middle school science and school administration. I have been awarded as a school administrator and as a high school volleyball coach. All with my neurodiverse brain.

I make life better for the team. I was trained and serve as a Therapy dog for schools. I also join groups to talk about what I do and make treats with my new friends.

I am also sharing my “stories” to help parents talk to their children about ADHD.

I specialize in working with educators and parents in setting up systems in routines to make all students successful. I feel this is the most important time in educational time to support students, educators, and parents learn simple yet highly effective routines.

I can offer solutions to building routines for getting ready for school, a place for homework/backpacks, and how to support students who struggle to get homework done (or even started).

The design of our PIC Organizer helps students keep everything together, helps parents know where to find student work and have a simple way to communicate between school and home.
